The Rose of Sharon Salon held our annual Hair Cut-a-Thon for the Childhood Cancer Foundation of Southern California raising over $4000 and cut more a hundred 12″ ponytails donated to “Wigs for Kids” The Child Hood Cancer Foundation is an AMAZING orginazation which helps families cope with the transition of being a normal day to day family, to a family with extreme hardship. They have events all year long from camps to Christmas party’s for the families allowing them a chance to be normal, in abnormal circumstances. Wigs for Kids is the only Wig company willing and able to give wigs to children who are suffering from temporary hair loss due to treatments such as chemotherapy, as well as children suffering from permanent hair loss.

The Rose of Sharon Salon hosted it’s 2nd Recovery First Women’s Home Make-Over day. We donated 6 Makeovers to women getting ready join the workforce again, after recovering from addiction. From the tops of their heads to the bottoms of their feet!
