Lacquered up and Lovin’ it <3

This holiday season get all lacquered up and lovvvve it!

As we all may know nail polish is one of the hottest trends right now. Any kind as a matter of fact. Anything to make your nails more fabulous than the previous day is surely a must in my book. There is nail polish, lacquer, arcylic, gelac, and of course the infamous “shellac”. Truth be told every way is amazing and each type of nail product is coming out with something new everyday. Shellacs now how the rockstar glitter and nail polishes are magnetic and shattering! The world of anils is surely taking off, pretty soon we are going to have 5 year olds walking around with sparkly arcylics nails that they did themselves! lol. I can totally picture in my little noggin but at the same time it freaks me out because its so true… Ha!

I love nail polish all year around but I love it most during the holidays… Why? I love it because it means that I can wear glitter on every single nail and not have people look at me like I am a straight up fool. You can use glitter, rhinestones, designs all on ONE nail, and boy oh boy do I love it! I went ahead and grabbed some pictures of snowflakes, glitter, Christmas lights, and festive zebra print!! Check them out and maybe they will give you some inspiration to either do your own or come in and have them done by one of fabulous nail techs. Turner is great, Leah is the bomb, and Eva is fab! They will hook up all of your holiday nail needs…

Personally, these bad boys are my fav! I always loved the
simplistic zebra print but with the festive holiday colors, they are utterly fab!

Cute, Contagious, and Classy

A hot ticket item this hoiday season are headbands of any kind. Silky, crocheted, and of course bedazzled. Its is all fab headwear in my opinion and the perfect way to spice up an already cute get up. I posted a few pictures for you to check out a few different types:)

This one is flowerey and fabulous! It is a simple, sassy,
and silky little flowered headband perfect for a casual
outting or even a night out on the town. This is one of my favs, it is absolutely stunning! It’s silver
which I love and it is studded out with sparkles.
I wish I had one in every color.

Lsast but not least, a scarf. Yes just a plain ordinary scarf that
you would wear around your neck but instead you wrap
it around that precious little noggin of yours;) I choose
zebra this day and it was perfecto! Muahh!

Anything from a bedazzled headband to a super cute crocheted hat, they are all perfect for a bad hair day or even just a little splash of fabulousness to your get up… Beanies are the bomb! Crocheted caps are cute. Hats are hottt!

They are all a fun way to make a statement and a comfy one at that.

For anyone that hates dry lips, this Aveda Lip Savor chapstick is for you. If I could pick 5 things to take on a desert island this would be one of the five things (a lifetime supply of course). haha! Along with my solar powered i-pod dock, i-pod (I need music to keep me sane and happy of course, can’t you just me belting out “I will Survive”?), deodorant, lots and lots of Wisps (they are mini toothbrushes with breath freshener and toothpaste, best invention!).

Lip Savor by Aveda, literally saves your lips! Well it saves mine anyways. During the fall and winter months my lips are sooo super dry and just don’t like to cooperate in helping my face look fabulous. I used to wake up in the morning and my lips were cracked with blood in the creases of my lips… and yes it was just as bad as it sounds! Considering I had already tried plenty of lip balms to take care of my dilemma, I figured one more wouldn’t hurt. So I tried Avedas and it is awesome! My lips always feel so moist and I like that the finish is natural and clear, instead of “Cherry red’ or a a weird white colored film all over the top of you lips. I never feel the need to apply it ever ten seconds only about a few times a day.

I love this because it is a great product that smells super good. It has a natural scent with a hint of red licorice. It is a refreshing, clean, and just an overall fabulous scent. In addition, it has a good hold factor as well. If you have curly or wavy hair then Confixer will be perfect for you. It keeps the funky frizzies to a minimum and it holds your curl without being “crunchy” or “crispy”. We all know that the crunchy look was so 1999! Nowadays women are looking for good curl definition that is bouncy, fun, all with no frizz…

Not only does this product help with defining your captivating curls but it is alos a great styling product for short hair. It adds lots of volume to any short cut without adding weight or bulk to it. Shear…hope, faith, and love <3

This Sunday my moms’ salon, The Rose of Sharon participated in the 4th Annual Inland Empire Believe Walk. This walk is in support of cancer, all kinds. The money goes to support the families and the patients in many of our hometowns. It is given to the Loma Linda University Cancer Center and Wellness Center at St. Bernadines Medical Center to help our family, friends, and loved ones who are fight this awful disease.

It was such a special event and a great experience for all who participated. This year was my 3rd walk that I participated in and it was the most special for me. I have always been one to support a good cause most especially if it is in my hometown but this year I was a much more compelled to be apart of such a beautiful thing because of my 8 year old niece Paris Bella. Paris was first diagnosed with Stage IV neuroblastoma in Oct. 12th, 2005. She has undergone 6 rounds of chemo, radiation, and 3f8 monoconal antibodies. For many years she was no evidence of disease however, this last month she was advised to go back to Memorial Sloan Kettering which is a hospital in New York to receive treatment, chemo, and radiation once again… For my family this was a difficult thing to undergo again but, we have never let anything strip of our faith in the Lord. We have always believed that everything is only apart of God’s master plan for our life and we have continued to trust him for all aspects of our life.

Paris’ is not only one of the most amazing kids I have had the pleasure of having in my life, but one of the strongest, funniest, and most loving individuals that I know. She is such a selfless child and I am so blessed to be able to call her my niece… She could be undergoing treatment or getting her chemo and her focus is always on her loved ones around her and not herself. To say that I have learned so much from this little miracle of a child would be an understatement, because has absolutely changed my entire world for the better.

For everyone that has has cancer affect either them or someone close to you, I walked 10k on Sunday for you! I walked because I believe that one day cancer will be forever gone from this beautiful world that God placed us in. I believe that one day there will be a cure. And lastly, I believe that MIRACLES DO HAPPEN.

Next year, if you get the chance, make walking for a cure a priority in your mind. Because even though it might not affect you, there are many around that have had loved ones lose their battle to cancer and events such as the Believe walk help to provide shear.. HOPE, FAITH, AND LOVE for all.
